Father God, I come before You right now lifting up my brother Chad. Lord, Your Word says that Chad is Your masterpiece. Not a project. Not a mistake. Not a man defined by what is being thrown at him this season. A masterpiece. Created anew in Christ Jesus for the good things You planned for him long before any of this began. I anchor this week's prayer right there.
Lord, when Chad looks at the lawsuit, the financial bleeding, the decisions on his desk, and the quiet aftermath of losing his dog, remind him who he actually is. He is not the sum of this season. He is not the size of the weight on his shoulders. He is a man You crafted on purpose, and Your good plans for him were written before any enemy formed a single weapon against him.
Father, give Chad clarity on the legal decision in front of him. He has been honest with You that he wants justice and he wants to put this behind him. Only You can show him which path is Yours. Speak so unmistakably that Chad cannot miss it, and give him the courage to follow whatever You say, even if it costs him something. He is Your masterpiece, and Your masterpieces do not need to win every battle. They just need to walk in step with You.
Lord, cover his business, his finances, his marriage, and his peace. You promised that no weapon formed against him will prosper. I stand on that. Restore what has been taken. Multiply what remains. Let this season produce in him the good things You planned long ago, even through the fire.
And Father, I rebuke every attack of the enemy on Chad's life this week. Satan, you have no authority here. You do not get to convince Chad that he is what this season is doing to him. You do not get to whisper that he is failing as a businessman, a husband, or a man. You do not get to disguise revenge as justice, or bitterness as righteousness, or fear as wisdom. You will not steal what God planned for him before time began. We see your schemes, and we shut the door on every one of them in the name of Jesus.
Father, build a wall of protection around Chad's mind, his marriage, his home, his business, and his heart. Send Your angels ahead of him into every conversation, every decision, every meeting this week. Let him feel Your nearness so clearly that the enemy's voice loses every inch of ground it tried to take.
Strengthen the masterpiece You are still shaping in him, Father. Refill what is empty. Give Chad moments of joy this week that come out of nowhere, just to remind him that You see him, You delight in him, and You are fighting for him, even in this hard season.
I thank You for Chad. I thank You for the man You have made him and the man You are still making him. He belongs to You, and victory belongs to You.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
You are God's masterpiece, brother. Read that sentence again and let it land. Not God's project. Not God's experiment. Not God's work-in-progress that He has to keep apologizing for. His masterpiece. The man He crafted with intention and called good before this season ever showed up.
That is your starting place this week. Not the lawsuit. Not the lost revenue. Not the empty spot in the house where your dog used to lay. Your starting place is the truth that God made you on purpose and prepared good things for you long before any of this hit.
When the discernment question feels heavy this week, ask it from that ground. Not "what do I do to survive this?" but "what do the good things God planned for me look like from here?" That is a different question, and it gets a different answer.
