For my brother,

Chad

+

Father God, I come before You right now lifting up my brother Chad. Lord, You see exactly where he stands this week. You see the lawsuit hanging over him, the uncertainty he is carrying, and the pressure of not knowing which way it will turn. I ask You for resolution, Lord. Bring it swiftly. Bring it cleanly. Let truth prevail and let Chad walk out of this season vindicated.

Lord, You also see the seventeen thousand dollars a month bleeding from his business, and the weight of having to let his assistant go this week. That is not a small loss. That is a real person, a real relationship, a real cost on Chad's heart. Surround him with grace as he walks through that conversation. Give him the right words. Honor Chad for the way he leads his people, even in seasons when the numbers do not allow him to keep them.

Father, Chad knows You are with him. He just doesn't know what You are asking him to do next. Make it clear, Lord. Quiet the noise of fear and the static of competing voices. Speak to him in a way he can hear. Show him the very next step and the courage to take it. Where he needs to act, embolden him. Where he needs to wait, steady him. Where he needs counsel, send the right men around him.

I rebuke every spiritual attack on Chad's mind, his marriage, his confidence, and his faith in this season. The enemy does not get the final word here. Chad belongs to You, his business belongs to You, and his future is held in Your hands.

Victory belongs to Chad because victory belongs to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

You don't have to see the whole road this week, brother. You just have to see the next step. God didn't tell Abraham where he was going. He told him to go. He didn't show Moses the parted sea before he reached the water. He showed it to him when he got there.

You are in that kind of season. The kind where clarity comes one step at a time, not all at once. Trust the next step you can actually see. Take it. The one after that will appear.

  1. Before opening email or texts tomorrow morning, take three minutes to ask God for one clear next step. Just one.
  2. Write that one step on a sticky note and put it where you will see it. Do it before noon.
"We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you."
